The game of Texas Hold’em Poker is played with a typical 52 card deck. The cards rank for lowest to highest. With the Ace being ranked the highest card followed by the King and then the Queen, etc. The two is the lowest card, followed by the three, four, etc. In the case of a straight, the Ace can be used as a low card (A, 2, 3, 4, 5) or a high card (10, J, Q, K, A). The basic goal of the game is to win the pot by forming the best 5 card poker hand from a total of 7 cards (two exclusive to you and 5 community cards used by every player).
